Our Goal: 100 Attendees in 2023

An interactive session at NASAGA 2022

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT … The Montreal conference was absolutely amazing — NASAGA phenomenon that will go down in the history books, no exaggeration.

What made it so special? Two things: First: we were there — live and in person. We shared the person-to-person experience that NASAGA is known for. Second: we felt the NASAGA spirit. Newcomers said so, too. We knew that these were our people. All this after a global pandemic and three years apart.

3 years of planning and replanning. 3 keynotes and 12 well-curated breakout sessions. 4 scholarships funded in the silent auction. 2 game nights. 1 Ifill-Raynolds awarded to Sonia Ribaux. 10 enthusiastic board members elected. 36 attendees.

We’re grateful to the 36 attendees that made 2022’s NASAGA conference a remarkable one. But there is something we couldn’t do with 36 attendees: plan NASAGA’s future.

NASAGA is known as the organization where training and education meet board games, RPGs, LARPS, improv, and many other playful approaches, all of which occur in live settings. In a world with a multi-billion dollar video gaming industry, a hybrid-virtual workforce, instant video chat, and TikTok, how will NASAGA adapt? And more importantly, will you join this conversation?

To get this conversation started in keep it going, the 2023 NASAGA Board is planning a new communications strategy, a new website, and a goal for our St. Louis conference of
