Call for Proposals

You are invited to submit a proposal for the NASAGA 2022 conference.

The format is a 90-minute learning-focused interactive session that would allow attendees to collaborate and (of course) get energized while playing games and simulations.

For this year’s conference, the focus is on strategies for playful learning and performance improvement.

A proposal is more likely to be accepted if it meets these criteria:

  • Clearly demonstrates strategies for playful learning and performance improvement.
  • Includes activities that engage participants, with minimal lecture.
  • Promotes research and best practices that participants can use in their work (as opposed to products or services for sale).

Here’s an example of what a summary looks like:

It’s the perfect time to start teaching kids how to play Dungeons & Dragons. Not only will they have fun while exploring collaborative storytelling, creative writing, and problem solving, but they’ll be able to use incredible new websites to develop creative tasks with deliverable outcomes. If you’ve been considering roleplaying with your students, there’s no better time to start than right now. In this session, we’ll explore the newest online tools that you can use to help strengthen students’ creative writing and problem solving while building social skills.

* PS. NASAGA is a non-profit organization based on the principle of generously sharing knowledge and ideas with other members; all workshop facilitators must register and arrange travel and lodging as participants at the conference.

All proposals are due Friday, June 24, 2022.
You may submit more than one proposal by completing a separate application for each.
Final decision on selection will be emailed by Friday, July 15, 2022.
